Earthmoving Courses
Earthmoving equipment is heavy machinery, normally heavy-duty vehicles, that is used in construction projects involving earthworks [1]. They’re used to move a lot of soil, dig foundations for landscaping, among other stuff. Heavy trucks, heavy machinery, building equipment, engineering equipment, heavy vehicles, and heavy hydraulics are all words used to describe earthmoving equipment.
Earthmoving machinery is mostly used in the construction industry, although it is also used in mining, digging, and other heavy duty work.
Earthmoving equipment is classified according to its mode of operation such as:
- Excavators (compact excavator, dredging, dragline excavator, front shovel and others).
- Loaders (Front End Loader, Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat), and Tractor Loader Backhoe or TLBs).
- Construction tractors (grader, scraper, track loader, material handler).
