Hydraulic Mobile Crane C35 Operator Course Content

This Hydraulic Mobile Crane C35 Operator course is made up of Knowledge Modules and Practical Skill Modules. Together, these components build theoretical understanding, practical lifting skills, and workplace readiness. The curriculum includes 12 credits of knowledge modules and 44 credits of practical skills modules.

Knowledge Modules

There are Five (5) Knowledge Modules (12 credits) in the Hydraulic Mobile Crane C35 Operator Course. These modules build the theoretical foundation needed to understand lifting operations, workplace safety, rigging, communication systems, equipment handling, and operational procedures in lifting machine environments.

Safety, Health, Environmental, Risk and Quality (Legislation and QMS)
  • This module develops understanding of workplace safety legislation, hazard identification, PPE usage, emergency procedures, firefighting principles, first aid basics, and environmental controls. Therefore, learners improve safety awareness in lifting machine operations.
  • This module introduces lifting machine components, materials handling methods, equipment maintenance, lifting techniques, load calculations, and workplace operating principles. As a result, learners understand how lifting equipment functions in industrial environments.

  • This module develops understanding of slinging methods, lifting tackle inspections, safe working loads, storage procedures, and rigging safety practices. Consequently, learners improve load handling and lifting safety competence.

  • This module focuses on communication systems used in lifting operations. Learners practise communication methods, reporting procedures, teamwork coordination, and signal interpretation in workplace environments.

  • This module builds knowledge of lifting machine operating principles, attachment handling, load stability, defect reporting, manufacturer procedures, and safe operational practices. Therefore, learners strengthen operational awareness and workplace readiness.

Practical Skills Modules

There are Six (6) Practical Skill Modules (44 credits) in the Hydraulic Mobile Crane C35 Operator Course. These practical modules provide learners with hands-on lifting experience and operational competency in hydraulic mobile crane activities performed in real workplace environments.
